With a passion for woven structure and an affinity for all things modern, Emily Garcia imparts refinement and a forward point of view to all her design endeavors.

Emily grew up in Chicago surrounded by world class art and architecture and from a young age knew that design was going to be a lifelong love and pursuit. After interning with Maya Romanoff and spending time studying drawing and art history in Rome, Italy she earned her Bachelor of Science degree in textile design with a concentration in wovens from Philadelphia University. She then moved to southern California to work for Shaw Industries designing and coloring broadloom carpet for the contract market.

A few years later she found her way back to her true love of woven textiles and joined the Momentum design team where she is responsible for creating high end corporate product. While at Momentum, Emily has worked on many notable upholstery collections including Interior Design Magazine’s Best of Year merit winning Black and White collection.
