Warm Your Interior with Scandinavian Modern Colors and Textures
Looking for high performance fabrics in warm tones that work with wood? Our new Scandinavian Modern collection does just that. Villa is a smooth yet visually textured tone on tone fabric in an earthy blend of bright and solid yarns reminiscent of handcrafted fabrics woven in mid-century Sweden. Cut Circles, a pattern created by simply cutting dots in half and randomly placing them on a solid ground, gives graphic interest in an easy to use scale. Both patterns are designed to be cleanable with bleach solution, making them perfect for healthcare and institutional environments. Eureka is a leather-textured polyurethane in complementary earthy colors that has easy to clean dry-erase technology: simply wipe marking pen and other hard to remove stain with a dry cloth. The Global Village Collection		 Global Village, a collection of 4 patterns in 20 colorways, is inspired by the elemental motifs and universal colors found throughout cultures and time. From the simple stripe of Piñata Party to the abstracted floral Margarita, the robust Maya and handcrafted look of Basket Weaver, these are patterns that reflect artisan textiles crafted in villages throughout the globe.

Woven in 100% Bella Dura® olefin yarns, Global Village is designed for indoor/outdoor use. Exceedingly durable, bleach cleanable, mold and mildew proof and sun fast, it is even more remarkable a product in that it is environmentally sound: Bella Dura with GreenShield® finish is MBDC Cradle to Cradle Silver certified. In order to make room for our new product introductions, we're having a $15/yd warehouse sale on 13 newly discontinued patterns. The fabrics include luxurious mohair and worsted wools, as well as hard-wearing high performance fabrics with original net prices of up to $125/yd. Six of the patterns are no longer available and cannot be re-ordered. Seven additional patterns are discontinued and in-stock yardage is priced at $15/yd but if needed, additional yardage may be ordered at 2011 net price in full pieces (30-50 yds per piece). The Colores de Mexico Collection
Our latest introduction, Colores de Mexico, won the "outdoor fabrics" category of the 2010 Best of Year Award, sponsored by Interior Design. The competition generated 55,000 votes by interior designers and architects.

Unexpected pairings make this color palette truly novel. Its nucleus includes familiar south of the border brights (blue, turquoise, red) mixed with neutrals (Mexican chocolate, undyed fleece), rounded out with Luis Barrigan pink, habanero orange and Mojito lime. We Add Mix to Our Sustainable, Cleanable Earthy Greens Collection

Mix		 Introducing Mix, our new complement to Big Dots and Eco-Pile. Woven with a smoother boucle yarn with an organic look and feel, it's made of 100% post consumer recycled polyester, with an MBDC Cradle to Cradle silver certification. Mix has a refined, easy-to-live-with texture midway between Big Dots' smooth finish and Eco-Pile's chunky chenille. The solid boucle yarns are mixed with fine scaled space-dyed threads to achieve subtle color variations in sumptuous tones that harmonize beautifully with woods and natural materials. Mehndi's stylized dot-and-floral motif is rooted in the languid, flowing patterns of mehndi -- ceremonial henna skin decorating. Ikat reinterprets traditional ikat fabrics in our delicious, revved-up palette.

Both patterns, in a total of 13 colorways, are woven with Crypton Green® technology, rated Cradle to Cradle Basic, for exceptional durability in high traffic areas. We Return from Scandinavia With a New Collection in Mind
Scandinavia 101 captures the spirit of that region's atmosphere, color palette and mood, while paying homage to its important textile tradition. Four patterns celebrate the simple hand woven goods of the past, yet incorporate a modern polish. Spun, woven with an irregular cotton slub yarn on a wool background evokes hand crafted woolen fabrics. Lina is satin weave woven with heavy linen yarns. Woods updates classic Scandinavian geometric textile patterns while Comfort recalls hand dyed, hand spun and hand woven blankets of the past. We Get Back to Basics With Our Cut and Paste Fabric
Sometimes the process of designing a fabric becomes a pattern in its own right. As we were cutting paper strips and pasting them onto colored backgrounds, we remembered the fun we had with scissors and glue in kindergarten, and stopped right there. Why not recreate these wonderful graphic elements with an old world weave? Using a double beam construction, the smooth warp ground and chenille weft bars make a bold, eye-catching design. Cut and Paste, one of our "special stripes", fits easily into the Stripes Galore Collection, complementing Bounce and Lines in Space.
