The Town and Country Collection

I like living in the city. I love the strict order of building facades and the regular rhythm of windows on their vertical surfaces. At night, New York's eclectic buildings light up in irregular patterns that provide another kind of visual feast. City Lights' small and large floating squares mimic that view. The fabric is woven with a shimmery yarn in the 'windows' and a contrasting boucle yarn in the background for added visual interest. City Lights' colors look almost washed, or softened, as if an evening fog is setting in.

My roots are in the country. I love the Pacific Northwest farmlands with their rich soil and ever-changing crops in strict rows. My favorite season is fall, when the colors soften and the mist lies low in the valley. Furrows is all about that quiet time, as the land is readied for next year's planting. Its raised textured stripe is as straight as those farm rows, and its colors reflect the changing tones in the landscape.
