The Scandinavian Modern Collection

I grew up in a home filled with Scandinavian modern textiles and furniture. Purchased during my family's visit to the 'old country' in 1963, the teak chairs, bookcases and dining buffet were the epitome of mid century modern Scandinavian design. I loved the warm wood tones and the textured hand woven fabrics. Fifty years later, they still look timeless.

The Scandinavian Modern collection is inspired by those colors and textures that are at home with wood. Villa, a fine scale weave, is reminiscent of handcrafted textiles, yet geared for high performance requirements. Cut Circles' modern playful pattern was developed simply by cutting dots in half and placing them in a random manner on the textile's surface. Both fabrics are designed to hold up under the most demanding conditions, and are cleanable with bleach solution cleaners and disinfectants. To complement warm wood and these mid century inspired fabrics, we introduce Eureka, a leather-like polyurethane with the newest cleaning technology that allows most stains to be cleaned with dry erase cloth or soap and water.
