• The Kyoto Collection: Inspired by the Art of the Kimono

Kyoto is the cultural center of Japan and home to its traditional textile industry, and a visit to the city provided ample inspiration for our newest collection. The collection's 23 colorways include metallic tones and colors inspired by the gardens, temples and the traditional textiles found throughout the city.

Kimono has an ikat dot pattern woven in a silk-like construction, while Obi Stripe features a burnished metallic look in a formal fine stripe. Kiri is a heavy chenille rib in 6 tone-on-tone or contrasting colorways. Shoji, suitable for upholstery and wall covering, offers a grass cloth-like texture named for the paper screens found throughout Japan.
